Dr. Walter Busuttil graduated MD University of Malta in 1987. A Fellow of the European Board of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, Dr. Busuttil read for a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Malta as well as a Master of Science Degree in Medical Leadership from the University of Warwick.

Dr. Busuttil is also a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Chair of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and was appointed as the Medical Director at Mater Dei Hospital from the year 2017 til 2022.
